Fantastic NLC from Conon Bridge on 12.07.05 about 1am (00:00h UT).
Looking N to NE this spectacular noctilucent cloud formation developed over about 30 minutes. Nikon Coolpix 5700, f/2.8, 4 sec, ISO 200, processed using Adobe Photoshop CS. Capella is the very bright star to the centre right of the image. Cheers Eric

Looking at that shot really helps me to visualize how we're a big ball of rock with a thin covering of gas atmosphere floating through the void of space. Gret job reckless.
