Hi Everyone,

Lunar Perigee (when the Moon is closest to Earth) was pretty close to the full Moon this month. What I decided to do was repeat a little project to show the difference in size between the Moon at Perigee and Apogee(furtherest away). I basically got there idea from this web page -
Inconstant Moon I've tried it once before in 1999/2000 Moon at Apogee and Perigee , since then my astrophotography skills and equipment have improved so I thought I try again. The attached image is the first part, the next best opportunity for the Apogee full Moon is February 14 2006.

Chris.

Unusual to see so much detail on the full moon. Very well done indeed!
