Hi,

The weather has been cloudy all week but it's a good opportunity to work on the last batch of images. The attached image is a combination of 6 images of 5mins each at ISO800 using a Canon 10D camera and a 35mm lens.

Can you please provide a link to a higher resolution photo, if you have one?

That photo looks like something you'd expect to come from big observatories, or at least what I'd expect.

Hi Mathew,

The full size image I have here is nearly 18MB big!
From this part of the world (New Zealand) the central area of the Milky Way passes directly overhead this time of year. I also live out in the countryside so I have good dark skies.

I come from a farm in South Africa so the Milky Way is an old friend. Ive never seen her like this though, amazing. B)
