Greetings All,
It's been a while since I've posted anything to these forums but I've taken some pic's recently that I wanted to share.
This pic was taken on July 22 (a day or two after the full moon) with about as basic of a setup as it gets. I used an Olympus C-4000 digital camera with most of the settings on "auto" (f2.8, ISO 400, 1/160 shutter speed, etc) with the camera hand held shot thru a modified Bushnell 600mm scope (Meade focuser, Simmons objective) with a Owl 40mm eyepiece. The image was originally shot in TIFF format and slightly processed (and framed) through Photoshop 7 to bring out a little more detail then saved as a .jpg with the image size reduced by about half for posting to this forum.
I have some other pics that I took last night of some constillations as well as the waning cresant Moon that I will post later after I've had a chance to clean them up a bit.
Enjoy!
Bright Blessings & Gentle Breezes,
Jim
