Default My collection of Mars during various rotations

Hi group Seohtu asked If I would post photos showing various points during rotation. I enlarged the photos alittle and soften the colors. hope you enjoy

Note: you will notice that a few photos were taken with out a teleconverter. I just bought a Meade apo 140 a few weeks ago. Big difference.

Outstanding shots Paul. The difference with the teleconverter is significant.

Paul, you *rock*!

I must say that third image looks rather creepy. Glad I saw that view here first - if I saw it in my telescope I'd be a little freaked out by the "giant pink snake" crawling over the planet. (You could forward that to Mr. Hoagland to include as additional proof of life on Mars, you know. Does he pay for contributors?)

Gonna be another month or so before I can start contributing my own images (do scanned sketches go here or in the Observing, Equipment and Accessories area?), but I'm putting your images to work in my field-book. Many thanks.

Sincerely,
Derrick Baumer
