Default How to instructions online?

Is there a step by step guide to Astrophotography on the web? Please post a link if you know of one.

Thanks!

Just go to Google and type in the words "how to" (in quotes) and "astrophotography" and you will get all the links you want.

Sky & Telescope has a how-to section. There's also a nice overview on Jerry Lodriguss' page. I'd also recommend reading through the Beginning Imaging section of the Cloudy Nights forum.

I have done the Google search, but was wondering if anyone can recommend one they used. I have ordered a book but it is on backorder. Would love to find a step by step page with instructions.

I've found that nothing beats hands on experience... get out there and take some pix! That's what I did a couple of weeks ago when I got a new camera -- I'd never tried astrophotography before that. Since then it's been a whole new experience for me...and I'm loving every minute of it. Everyone in this forum has been supportive and helpful. I'd say it's like cooking... you can read all the cookbooks in the world, but nothing beats getting into the kitchen and breaking a few eggs! Have fun and post your pix here!

I have made a few attempts at Saturn but have trouble focusing. Thanks to a link from Wolverine, I found Jerry Lodriguss pages to have great advice. I have a 10x loupe and a 20 diopter lens to try focusing with tonight. I am sure I will just have to play with it until I find the right exposure time/ISO settings etc.
Here are my mistake photos of Saturn:
