Default Mare Tranquillitatis

I photographed the area around Mare Tranquillitatis last night with a focallenght of 2800mm f/10 with my NexStar11 and Canon Digital Rebel XT.

Perran, excellent photo! Very nice detail along the terminator.

For grins: the Mare looks like the shape of a cat's head to me...just add whiskers.
