Hi
I’m new here found the site yesterday and loved the pics here. Here are some of my pics I took a few weeks back out of my window using a canon A620. http://www.flickr.com/photos/40404904@N00 |

Nice photos, Sasome, and welcome! I especially like the one you chose for your avatar. Industrial photography can be beautiful, too, and highlight electromagnetic radiation.
*As kids, when we travelled by car at night, I thought the high-tension- wire towers looked liked Godzillas, or so I imagined.

I really want to get a telescope and learn more about astronomy but here in London the light pollution is a killer. Are there any good introductory books that you can recommend for Astronomy and astrophotography?
Also I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this or if anyone’s interested but the BBC have put “The Sky at Night” online. You can watch all the episodes way back from December 2001 to the most recent. Check out: http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/space/s...proginfo.shtml |
