Default In celebration of Saturn and Mars event.

I light of the upcoming event with Saturn and Mars. I thought it would be proper to post some of my pics of both planets in celebration of the event and would like other members to populate this thread with their pics of Mars and Saturn.

Drose, your Saturns look like hubcaps spinning away! Seriously, they are very good photos--sharp.

JAICOA, I like your Mars montage, and another great Saturn pic.

Thanks, I took these picture with an Orion 8" reflector on the Mel Bartels/Dan Gray Servo drive system and ToUCam Pro.

Hi Drose. Here are a few Mars photos from 2005. All are avi's of 1min or longer. All taken with a etx 125, a 2x apo tele and a sac 7 ccd. All processed in registax and cleaned up in photoshop. All were taken from my Home in Washington Pa.

Paul nice shot with the ETX i think the best i have seen with it.

Excellent pctures. I have a little etx 70 and Saturn looks just like that (although smaller). Mars is just a pin point.

Default My mars photo....

Ok it's not as fancy as some of the great shots posted here, but I was lucky to have a few chances to see it in Seattle. Opposition was in October, clear skies are rare that time of year around this area.
