Default HorseHead HaRGB - my 28 hours attempt
Dear all,

after 3 nights of sampling color and using the 8 nights of luminance data already done, I decide to finalize my image on this subject. All the images are taken from my strong polluted backyard in Rome (Italy).

The data:
Vixen Visac f/9 on Celestron CGE
SBIG ST10 XME with CFW-8A
Ha:61x20min bin1x1 (13nm)
R: 13x10min bin1x1
G: 13x8min bin1x1
B: 13x18min bin1x1

Total exposition length 28 hours.

Dude, that has to be the best HorseHead ever done on this forum that I've ever seen. Amazingly brilliant shot.

Right, Filippo = Philos Ippos = Horse Friend. I never think about it during the cold nights in which I took the HorseHead, next time could be very useful. Thanks you for this suggestion too.

OK so I went out last night and took 9 minutes of this thing at ISO1600 at the prime focus of an 8" SCT and I got the stars and nothing else at all. No swathes of glowing hydrogen. No horsehead-shaped cloud of dust. Absolutely, utterly nothing. So now I am even more amazed.
