M16 - taken with very nice gear
Greetings,
Here is my first full-color astrophoto. Don't let this encourage the beginners out there - I had leftover telescope time I had access to over the Internet so I used it on this and two other objects. The telescope is a 20" RC Optical Systems on a Bisque Mount and an SBIG STL-11000 CCD camera. That is some expensive stuff. I actually do not own a scope yet (well, not true, I have P.S.T. - a Ha solar scope). View Image Here
