Default Transit of Mercury from Tasmania

Better late than never I suppose. As expected the day started with solid cloud cover, as seen in the equipment shots. I managed to fluke a few images through thin cloud as a thicker layer moved a little. A long wait until the next transit.

For those of you having cold wet weather, I will swop you some rain to cool off, spare a thought for me cooking in 35 degrees C, clear blue skies, hot winds with bushfires a few miles away! Freakish weather so early in the summer (3 months early)
