Default Smoky Sunset

Continuing on the smoke filled skies from the bushfires now raging on the east coast of Tasmania north of Hobart. this image taken near Hobart shows the smoke haze effecting an otherwise pristine sky. The fires are 150km away at least.

Smoke from the fires in Victoria 500km away are also joinig up across Bass strait.

Very dramatic shot Shevill. Well done.

Smoke from distant bush and forest fires can have a remarkable effect on sunsets. I managed to get a few good ones from this past summer:
