Hi All,
The night of the 13th to the morning of the 14th was a very nice night at JBSPO. I setup a portable camera tracker with my Canon 10D DSLR and 20mm lens, iso 400, at F3.5 I captured these twin meteors coming from the Twin's head - Castor and Pollux, bright stars to the upper left, the meteros were heading towards the constellation of of Auriga when my camera happen to be pointed in the right place....Pure luck!!! This image is a crop version of the large original to get the file size small enough to post, but keep the resolution so you can see these two meteors. I counted at least 60 per hour for four hours that I observed, 12:30am to 4:30am. I expected a lot of people since the night was unusally warm for this time of year and it was clear for a change. Sadly I was the only one at the park to view this great meteors shower! Hopefully we will see a few more tonight. http://www.galacticimages.com/images...s2-Chumack.jpg
