Hi All,
I missed the Auroras and continued Meteors last night due to clouds and rain. It did finally clear around 7:00am this morning, too late to see the Auroras or meteors, but I was rewarded with a beautiful view of Spica above the Waning Crescent Moon with Earthshine. Taken with a Canon 10D DSLR, 75-300mm lens at about 100mm, ISO 400 for 4 seconds from my backyard in Dayton, Ohio. I figure its better than nothing at all, http://www.galacticimages.com/images/Moon_Spica.jpg

Pretty photo, John, I love the way the moon is just radiating light like a star. Thanks for sharing.
