Default Moon mosaic and the three photos that made it

Hi All here is a Moon mosaic and the three photos that made it. the three photos were 20 sec avi's at 1/150 of a sec 20 FPS. Processed in registax 4 and cleand up using photofilter noiseware and photoshop 9.0

I used my etx 125 and my sac 7 ccd to take the avi's that made these photos/mosaic.

Hi paul,

Nice mozaic of the moon....what software are you using to stitch with?
Just curious, I have never tried to Mozaic the moon....I bet it is hard to blend them to match the color and density of the different sections.

All the best,
John

Hi john The program is a freeware called autostitch. I try to blend and highlight the bright spots in photofilter first then I move on to photoshop 9.0 Photofilter is another freeware program that works very well.

After you choose your setting in autostitch the program will auto align the photos that you pick. thanks

Hi Paul,

Your images and the mosaic are really stunning!! Keep going. I am still waiting to see what you can do with the Alpine Valley region. But this one of those mountains are superb.

Thanks

Phil

Great stuff as usual, Paul. I especially like #3 - the mountain range with the craters looks terrific!

Take care up in those cold parts - it's warm and humid today in Houston. A/C on December 16th!
