Smile NGC2808, a Globular Cluster in Carina

Canon 300D at prime focus of 8" SCT, 21 x 30 seconds at ISO3200. Processed with IRIS. clop



I've come to the conclusion that all globular clusters look exactly the same when you photograph them. They must be the most generic objects in the sky.

Yes, they do. Espeacialy black and white ones like the deep sky survey uses. Fortunately they don't through a scope. Otherwise half the objects in the sky would be boring.

Nice shot anyway.
