Default My best afocal Saturn thusfar

Last night the seeing was great and the light pollution minimal. Saturn was still fairly low at 2:30 am but I could use my 9 mm Plossl eyepice on the 9" f/8 Dob.
I took a few shots through the eyepiece with my hand held Fujifilm Finepix2600 camera and the results were quite pleasing. I enhanced the brightness, contrast and sharpness with Picasa2 and cleaned it with noiseware.
Of course this cannot compete with timed prime focus exposures and AVI's with subsequent stacking with Registax, but as far as afocal imaging is concerned, this is almost as good as it gets.
Following this I had a great time looking at DSO's in Carina and in particular had a glorious view of the Keyhole nebula near Eta Carinae.
