NGC 869: one of the clusters in the Perseus Double Cluster
Conon Bridge, Highlands, Scotland

Taken at 2000h UT on 20.12.06 using a Nikon Coolpix 5700 with settings 30sec, fl=71.2mm, f/14.7, ISO 400. The image quality setting was .JPG.

The camera was attached directly (afocally) to my 8" SCT with a f/6.3 focal reducer. There was no other eyepiece combination in place.

Six of the best images were selected and stacked using RegiStax then further processed using Adobe Photoshop CS.
