Pleiades Occultation by the Moon: Imaging Opportunity
There is an imaging opportunity coming up on 23/24 February 2007 of the Pleiades being occulted by the Moon. I have created a movie, using Cartes du Ciel, of what you can expect to see at my location. I'm sure many others on this forum will be able to capture the event some time at their own locations.
You can view the movie at http://members.aol.com/astrophotos/7sismoon.gif The movie was created for between 2200h on 23.02.07 and 0130h on 24.02.07 at Lat: 57°33'50"N Lon: 4°25'24"W Clear skies Eric
