Default My Comet McNaught Image Gallery

Hi all

I've finally finished processing all my Comet McNaught images from the 18th, 19th, 20th and 26th of January.

I've uploaded them to my Comet McNaught Image Gallery, but I'll attach a few of my favourites here as well. There are 3 pages in the gallery.

The ones from the 18th, 19th and 20th were from IISAC2007 at Lostock, with Saturday (20th) being the best day in terms of brightness of the tail. The ones from the 26th were taken at Gosford waterfront, with lots of local light pollution as well as the waxing gibbous moon in the North. A much more difficult object to photograph as well as even see naked eye!

I'm hoping to get some morning shots in the next few days - this morning was clouded out!

Thanks for looking.

Default Comet McNaught images

Hi Mike - these are absolutely outstanding! I love the panoramic images! Thanks so much for posting them here. Will have to look at your other images as well.

Too bad we can no longer see it here in the Northern Hemisphere! Bummer!

Clear Skies!

Paul

Hi Mike,

Fantastic!! Number two is my favorite. I think that one is the best one I have seen with the impressive peacock tail.

Thank you

Phil
