Hi all
Finally got through all the data from the 14th. AVI 9 was the pick of the bunch. The final image is presented here. 12" newt on EQ6, DMK21AF04 + 5x powermate, 30fps (1/30s exposure), 550 frames stacked in each channel. Seeing was just above average. Altitude was 45°. One of the STrD's is about to set on the preceding limb in the SEZ. The seeing was reasonably consistent across all 14 avi's, so i'll make an animted gif from the data, early next week. Thanks for looking.

Hi Mike - Absolutely gorgeous! Isn't it amazing what we can do with the technology and cameras/software that's available to us today?! There's no way that I know of that amateur astronomers could have captured this kind of detail 20 years ago! Between quality optics and the ability to stack multiple images by software, etc., can you imagine where this "hobby" (I use that term very loosely) is going to be 20 years from now, or even in the next few years?
Congratulations! Keep up the good work! Clear skies!
