First timer here - please re-direct me if there's a better forum for this question. I haven't found much with regard to connecting a Fuji FinePix S602Z camera to a Zhumell Perigee 100 telescope. Does anyone have any (specific) advice on how best to do this for a complete amateur?
ScopeTronix suggests their MaxView 40 and Attachment Kit #41 which sounds good, but at ~$200 I'd like to be a little more sure. I haven't had much success finding a reducer from 52mm (camera adapter tube) to the 40.5mm(?) 1.25" T-adapter that I already own. ScopeTronix's offering (MaxView 40) has a lens which aparently controls vignetting (I guess my lens-less T-adapter would have this problem). I've also learned what Barlow lens do (generally) - should I be looking at a 2x Barlow instead of/in addition to for better shots of Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, etc? Thanks in advance, Adam |
