Default Venus Image

Hi Neil - Wow! What great detail! And so neat to see it with a phase. Sure leaves my humble offering in the dust with my existing setup using a Meade Lunar Planetary Imager! Thanks for posting it! I need more aperture!!!

Clear skies!

Paul

Many thanks Paul, ive really only just started filming venus, im hoping for better in the coming weeks, but at my location with venus so low, its not easy getting sharp details. I got my 10 inch newtonian when i saw some stuff done by one britians best planetary photographers, and felt just like you.

I saw some venus images the other day that looked just like the early space probe shots, theres always someone whos doing better, i think its the nature of the game. whats important is enjoying and learning as we go. Ive got some less sized shots, that are a little tighter, i thought it would be interesting to show my experiments in up sizeing. Think the experiments are showing its far better to do it this way than to just click 150% on photoshop for example, cheers again
Neil
