Default Often overlooked Cygnus..... vdB132

I thought I'd give this region a try because of its complex clouds and color. It is overlooked because of its more famous neighbors. I thought is would be relatively easy, ya know, blue clouds in a red field. I was wrong. I find this region to be very challenging to process without messing up the color. In fact I'm not sure if I even succeeded. The blue region is almost completely invisible in the Ha. All its details came from the RGB. Maybe I should add some clear filter data to this sometime...

I should double my exposure time but I'm restless -- time to move on!

Outstanding Tom, The color balance and processing is spot on. I think the reflection nebula will make a very interesting Hi-Res target...

Congrats,

Oh my! That is gorgeous.

I'm going to share this photo with some friends.

The blue SO sets off the red. Or vice versa. And all those suns...

Well I'm glad you didn't overlook it. Fabulous; thanks!

Thanks everyone for the kinds comments and encouragement! And yes Ken, it would make an excellent high-res image. Grab it with your 20"!! I'd love to see that image!
