Default mosaic of Copernicus and Eratosthenes

Hi all

Here is a final mosaic photo of Copernicus and Eratosthenes. Three photos were used to make the mosaic. All were 20 sec avi's 1/100 of a sec 30 fps. I used my etx 125 and a sac 7 ccd with a maxpower tele. Processed in registax and cleaned up in photoshop cs2 and noiseware.

The weather here has been bad for sometime now. Jupiter is so washed out I quit trying to flim it, even the Moon has a haze that covers it. I am hoping for good weather for this weekends meteor shower.

clear skies to all Paul

Paul,

How do you align the images for your mosaics? The results are excellent.

Hi guys thanks. Andy after I take my first image of the Moon I then over lap each image after that by a 1/4 frame, this helps Auto Stitch when its trying to find a match.

There are times when the photos that I want to use are not in order, when this happens I make a new folder and put the photos that I want to use in it.
Do you use Autostitch, I like it better then the program Imerge. The only thing that I dont like about autostitch is that you need to change the file name after every mosaic, if you forget to do this you lose the mosaic when running the next set of photos. I hope this helps later Paul

Thanks Paul, this helps. I don't use anything right now, and manually aligning in Photoshop is not easy. I'll check out Autostitch.
