Hi everyone,
Today at noon I took this image of Venus with my Takahashi CN-212 at prime focus in cassegrain mode, and ToUCam webcam with a red and variable polarizing filter to increase contrast. http://gallery.caasastro.org/v/membe..._2007.jpg.html Right now Venus is 57 arcseconds in apparent diameter. That is almsost an arcminute! On Friday, Venus will only be 2 degrees closer to the Sun (it is 10 degrees from the Sun now), so hopefully, if the weather stays good, I can get an image of Venus right at inferior conjunction. |
