Default Antares & Moon

Hi from Tasmania,

We had a clear sky on the 18th Sept (almost a cause to celebrate these days) and with a crescent Moon overhead, time to take some more pics with the Tak FS-102 and my Nikon D200.

It was 'magic' to watch the Moon glide past Antares.

Clear skies...
Shevill

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your warm welcome. It is a long time between drinks these days, I have just added a trimmed image.

Default Re: Antares & Moon

Obviously a fake, showing the Moon and a star in the same photo.

Meanwhile, one Devil of a pair of photos, Shevill! My favorite star in my favorite constellation. Good work!

Wonderfully sharp. Your control of exposure is masterful. Is the very faint blue object near antares a much fainter star?

Kind regards
Matt
