Default Saturn June 2007

Hi all.
I was going through some files last night and found a few Saturn avi's that I did not process. I ran 3 avi's as 1 through registax and then made a darkframe. The wavelet was light. I used 6,700 frames to make this photo. I used my etx 125 and the sac 7 ccd with a 2x tele to take the avi's.

Hi Matt. Registax has a function that lets you make a darkframe or a flat frame after the alignment. I dont know if its as good as taking a darkframe when filming because I dont do that as of yet. I can say this function works very well when doing the Moon and the Planets when there is a bit of noise to be seen. It is a cool option. Thanks and clear skies. Paul

Thanks Paul. I have seen the function but I didn't realize it generated its own dark frame. I must give it a whirl.

Kind regards
Matt

You have the ability to get every bit of resolution a 5" scope can give. Well done!
