Default Comet 17/P Holmes on October 27

Hi all,

Last night I took this image of Comet 17/P Holmes with my Takahashi CN-212 telescope at prime focus (f/12.4) and SBIG ST-402 camera. It looks like a huge planetary nebula. It is so large I could barely make out the fuzziness naked eye.

Great picture Kyle! Is that bright spot the head of the comet?

Thanks! Yes, I think that bright spot is the nucleus or head.

Thanks JAICOA. I took 5 second exposures for each RGB channel and stacked 8 red, 9 green, and 8 blue frames.
