Default Crater Petavius - Five panel Mosaic

After a session with Mars i decided to go for the moon and it was very stable even with the 3x barlows (Was viewing Mars) i decided to make a mosaic since it didnt fit in my view. with these results. Clear Skies

Great detail in the crater. I like the way you can see craterlets in the larger crater, along with some rills.

As with all moon images here, I expected amazing, and yet was still blown away. Very nice!

That's the best Petavius shot I've seen short of one taken by a lunar orbiter.

Thanks Rick, I'm glad you like it i have seen some photos of the old lunar orbiter with scan lines and noise. i think this one came out better without leaving earth . Thanks again Rick Clear Skies

Fantastic detail. this is probsbly the best resolved earth based shot I have ever seen.
