Hi All,

My last solar image for 2007, taken with my Baader Planetarium Mark IV Ha Coronograph with the narrow 1.5A Ha filter. Attached to a 4" f/10 Sky Watcher refractor. There is no filter over the objective. Camera used is the new Nikon D300 DSLR.

Instrument images: http://picasaweb.google.com/AstroTas...98160954657298

A clear sky with fair seeing. There are no visible spots and only a few very small prominences (not seen in my Coronado 40)

This is the weather we needed for our daylight Sun/Jupiter occultation! them's the breaks.

My New Year resolution is to spend a lot less time in front of the flat screen and a lot more in the observatories & workshop, I have a 16" waiting to be finished and articles to write.

Wishing you all a very Safe & Happy New Year with lots of clear skies.

Shevill
