Default Rosette Neb.- 7 Panel Mosaic

This is an image of seven panels of the Rosette neb. there were four more panels but the gradients did not make it to match correctly, after over a month from last images so i croped the edges a little and this is whats left of it. Each panels at 765x510 size had to reduce it greatly.

Awesome shot, but could you upload one without the faux-diffraction spikes? I find them somewhat distracting. (I prefer real spikes) Either way, it's a great photo.

Nice Mosaic.

I'd need about 20 frames for this guy and I can't get two to match, let alone 4. A year ago I took a white light shot of a small part of it, 30 minutes. If the skies ever clear I should redo it in color.

Efrain,

Great job on the mosaic. The detail is really nice. Great job matching the frames.

Big effort and nice results.

This image scores high on efficient use hobby investment, something many forum participants seem to not appreciate in the least. Most people would not be willing, or able, to complete an equivalent image of this subject using anything less than a truly high-end/high cost observatory.

Good Job.

A fantastic effort not to mention the encouragement factor. At my level, mosaics are my only hope of producing such images so this stands out as a model of what can be achieved.

Kind Regards
Matt
