Phil,
Great sharing of this experience. I wish I could have seen it, but with your help I have! --Andy

Like Venus, Jupiter and the moon, I've been clouded out again. Foggy this morning and while it cleared late in the day it is again cloudy and expected to be thick fog by morning. To see it I'd have to walk a half mile across the lake (nicely frozen but wading through 18" of snow is no fun) to see it. I have a high hill to the east that blocks anything that low.
Thanks for the pix, its the only way I'll see it, besides in a planetarium program on the computer. They came out well. You have a good horizon and skies that low. Rick |
