Well done.
Was the Flaming Star done with the STL-11000? It doesn't give the camera.

Question. One fellow I know bought and Epsilon 180 but said the focuser just couldn't carry the weight of his FLI camera which is somewhat lighter than the 11K. It wouldn't hold square for him so he sold it. Did you have that problem or was his just defective?

Rick,

Yea, I shot all of these with my STL11k. The Epsilon 180ED focuser isn't nearly as beefy as it should be but mine seems to handle my STL okay. One trick is to NEVER EVERY use the instrument rotator. It blows my telescope completely out of collimation, and it's is a royal pain to collimate that telescope. You have to just tighten it down, collimate the scope, and never touch it again. That's not the first story I've heard about focuser issues though, but fortunately I've had no issues with mine!

A wonder ful set of images and an impressive set up. The SBIG certainly allows for an astonishing range of colour dynamics. Thanks for sharing and welcome.

Kind regards
Matt
