Hi Group, A session i did last month and decided to process thinking it was not enough time for a good image but came out better then exspected. The bright star Alnitak (Zeta Orionis) really put a challenge in the processing but here it is. Clear Skies

Thanks Matt, I know what you mean on the Ha the star came out really nice with many spikes but when LGB was applied the star in those filters were largely saturated. Clear Skies

Your photo came out very well overall, very nice colors. Alnitak is always difficult to handle in this area.
If you used DDP, or other methods of curve stretches, you might want to back off a bit, that would help with Alnitak and the center of ngc2023. Robert |
