Default Ngc 2158 - 5"tmb

hi guys,

here is an image I processed as a crop of the overview M35+NGC2158 I posted recently.

NGC 2158 looks like a glob. cluster but sure isn't.
it is pretty old, said to count some 1 Bio. years and seems to be located 10800 LY from earth. it's true nature was only revealed in the 70s last century.

we're looking at 2 hours total exposure time.
SXVF M25C - 4+8 min subframes.
5" TMB f/9

please find the image, all data and the overview including M35 here:

http://www.stargazer-observatory.com/ngc2158.html

thanks for looking.

Wow, that is an old cluster. The color contrast with the blue star in the foreground is remarkable.
