Default From North to South -M51 & M83

The Whirlpool galaxy, lum. was taken in early march was about to abandon it but decided to take the rgb after finishing the Southern Pinwheel M83. The warm weather here is making a major task in processing due to the cameras uncooled state (DSI III Pro). Clear Skies to All.

Great images and good colour. Yes the DSIs don't cope very well with the heat. When the moon goes away I plan to tackle M83 and really spend some time on it as it is directly overhead here.

Kind regards
Matt

Those came out well. I wish I could image M83 but it is just too low for my latitude and skies. 13 degrees up is down in horrid 10" seeing and thick haze.

Efrain,

Very nice images! The color looks spot on and the detail in the galaxies is good.

Clear skies,
