I took this last fall but at the time couldn't process HA+L RGB images without the stars looking really lousy. What with a winter of mostly clouds I had plenty of time to learn thanks to advice from others. So I finally got up nerve to tackle this one. This only shows the northwest quarter of the entire nebula. It misses many of the "Pillars of Creation" in this nebula though hints of some are seen on the lower left side of my image. The big ones are out of frame at the bottom.

14" LX200R @ f/10, Ha=4x30', L=4x10', RGB=2x10' binned 3x3, STL-11000XM, Paramount ME

I had to greatly reduce the size of the image to meet bandwidth limits. The full image is at:

A Very impressive quarter section of the nebula, The stars are perfect and the dust structure of the nebula is with very fine details. Simply another Outstanding image! Welldone Rick and Clear Skies.

Great work Rick. Yes I too am finding this processing has layers, like onions and ogres.
