Default Low Altitude Jupiter and Callisto

All:

We had some above average seeing this weekend, so I took advantage of it, and caught a few shots of Jupiter and its moon Callisto. The photos were taken w/ the Lumenera on the Mewlon at f/40.

The first image (w/ GRS & Callisto) was taken Sunday AM, the other was taken Monday AM, both w/ the planet at 30 degrees altitude.

Robert,

Wow, that's great. Wonderful results.

I gave up the idea of even trying when I realized that Jupiter would be only 35 degrees above the horizon here, and that at 3am (34' N, 118' W).

Perhaps I should reconsider....

Very nice work, Robert. Excellent images - especially the 2nd one.

Great shots Robert, even under not ideal conditions. Nice details and color especially the second image. Welldone and Clear Skies
