Default New Image: Sh2-155, vdB 155

Here is an image of the region around Sh2-155, Cave Nebula. It shows numerous other nebula such as vdB155. In my continuing quest to find dust nebula I have processed this image so the faint dust clouds may be seen. This is another hybrid image, combining data from a 12" astrograph (Lum ,Ha) and 4" astrograph (RGB). Since clear nights are few this year I have gone to imaging with two setups at the same time -- different mounts. That way I can get more data on any given night.

Comments/criticisms welcome.

Beautiful area. I tried the Cave but it came out very poor due to bad flats. I need to redo it.

I'd go nuts trying to keep two camera's going. I have enough trouble with one at a time!

At least you are getting some imaging weather. I've had none for two months now. Tonight looked promising (only have 2 hours of darkness at 48 north) but clouds just rolled in. Think it a ground fog from the lake. Doesn't matter. I'm dead yet again.

No photons captured makes for a grumpy astronomer!

Simply Awesome! Very nice depth perception and the fine dust and very intricate dust structure is amazing and well shown. Welldone Tom and Clear Skies
