Default Stephans Quartet

Spending some quality time with the 24" RC at lightbuckets i did my first image run with my very limited funds and I've been pretty impressed.

I'll be uploading the fits files and making all the data from my runs available to all shortly. Just finishing some work on the website and plan to put up all of my raw data to share.

Stephan's Quintet

I hope this isn't a double post. First try didn't show up.

Actually the large galaxy in the group is a foreground object so in that sense it is a quartet. Also the little galaxy to the left IS a member of the group again making it a quintet again.

In any case nice shooting of a small target.

Thanks for the feedback!

Stephan's is one of my favorite targets to just stare at. I love the little round galaxy to the left like you said and further down on the bottom left corner there is yet another galaxy.

I'm looking at putting in for a few hours of more luminance time and will hopefully upload those pictures sometime next week.
