Hi all,
Today at noon the sky was very steady for daytime imaging, and I was able to get some images of the crescent Mercury. http://gallery.caasastro.org/v/membe...arlow.jpg.html I don't know if actual surface detail is visible or if it is noise artifacts. Here is a smaller version taken at prime focus without the barlow. http://gallery.caasastro.org/v/membe...focus.jpg.html Kyle Edwards

Very cool shot. It's hard to get Mercury and you've done a fine job.
