Default Crescent Mercury in Daylight

Hi all,

Today at noon the sky was very steady for daytime imaging, and I was able to get some images of the crescent Mercury.

I don't know if actual surface detail is visible or if it is noise artifacts. Here is a smaller version taken at prime focus without the barlow.

Very cool shot. It's hard to get Mercury and you've done a fine job.

Nice to see photos of Mercury. With good daytime seeing, it may have been a good time for some sunspot shots (if there were any).
