Default Waning 'Artistic' crescent Moon

Hi,

On 4th July, waiting for the sky to darken and image the planetary alignment, I took a series of Moon images of a Waxing not Waning) with a terrestrial attachment, something I like to achieve whenever possible. These one-off challenges are great, the timing and location have to be just right. Taken from my front patio overlooking the Meehan Range.

Tripod mounted Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 80 to 200 f/2.8 ED zoom at 200mm

Regards
Shevill

Very nice "new Moon in the arms of the old!"

I particularly like the third shot.
