Default Jupiter/Venus Approaching Conjunction

I decided to image this event in case the weather didn't permit it. On this conjunction in progress reaching max in a couple of days of Venus at the right is much brighter then Jupiter being the largest planet due to it being closer to the sun. Top is left (Jupiter)with its moons left from the planet and Bottom is right (Venus) Horizone. it was still daylight the sun setting still here.
A total of approaximately 20 min. of video at 15sec. intervals, was taken Piggy backed on the main scope.

To All who celebrates it, Happy Thanksgiving!!!.
Clear Skies to ALL.

Beautiful! Been watching that sky show (it's currently cloudy the past two evenings though). Hope I/we don't miss Moon-Jupiter-Venus.

Our skies have cleared and last night was fabulous! Jupiter nearly straight above Venus. Lovely.

Default Jupiter/Venus Approaching Conjunction

Hi,

A nice shot of the two giants, it is just a pity that our digital photography is not yet as good as the eye. The images just cannot do it justice. Hope you get clear skies for the 'BIG' one.

Regards
Shevill

Thanks Schevill, Well the rain gods came back sunday and last night was a wet one. But was able to snap some shots in the opening of the clouds for some minutes.
