Default Comet C/2006 OF2 (Broughton)

Set up in my back yard a few nights ago (Dec 05) to image this comet in Constellation Lynx. Mounted a de-forked 10" LX90 on my CGE, with an 80mm Stellarvue Nighthawk II as a guidescope with the Orion StarShoot autoguider and PHD software. Used a Canon 40D with a 0.63x field flatner. Took a series of 3 minute exposures at Hi ISO (equivalent to ISO 3200) in RAW between about 10:30pm and 11:30 pm before the cold temperatures drove me inside. Subtracted a single dark from each individual frame in DSS (although even at this hi iso, the cold temps helped minimize the noise), and processed in PS CS3. This shows the change in the comet's position over about a 41 minute time span:
