Default Focus/Sequence/Capture/Reduce etc

When I was shown how to take images of the sky I used MaximDL on a windows pc. I have a copy of MaxDSLR which I have used on my girlfriends laptop.

But my laptop is a mac. And my pc is linux. (not a great fan of windows!)

I cant use MaxDSLR or MaximDL on my mac.
I could install Linux on the mac and run MaxDSLR in Wine but everything ive tried in Wine doesnt work properly. Given MaxDSLR controls the camera I would be very surprised if ill have any luck with Wine/Linux.

So im down to Nebulosity on my ibook. Is Nebulosity the best way to go? Or do I have another alternative? I dont like the iBook but for some reason I prefer the iBook over Windows. Linux on PowerPC is a nightmare. I went back to OSX.

Many Thanks
