Default Planet or lense flare?

In this SOHO image, is the round object in the far right a planet, or just some kind of artifact? And if a planet, which one?

It's Mercury. A helpful as well as quick way to check such things is the JPL Solar System Simulator.

Default Mercury

Probably Mercury. The object's position in the SOHO image corresponds to Mercury's position relative to the Sun as seen in a whole sky chart from Heavens-Above.
