Default NGC6302 - The Bug Nebula

Another small beauty of the planetary nebula "The Bug". put some extra time on the RGB channels due to the dust. it has a very faint filament at the 1 o'clock position extending pass the bright star. Located in Scorpius at the tail sect. region.

Very good. That doesn't appear to have lost the blue to Sahara dust. A few more frames and that extension should start to pop out.

Another I won't be imaging. At 28 or so degrees south of me you have a lot more sky at your aperture's opening. Longer nights this time of year as well. Be we don't have to duck hurricanes!
