Venus by 20x80 binocular... and welcome...'Kastorvapolux' Venus is never a good target. Its always a little fuzzy and thus hard to resolve. That image is as good as they get for a 20x80 bino., image. The focus is always an issue for Venus. Astronomicle photography is a large complex subject. Looking through this thread you will find much information... good luck.

For a through-binoculars shot...pretty good; nice phase, kastor...,
discounting a bit of chromatic aberration.
Thanks for sharing...and welcome to BAUT.

That is so much better than my 10-24x50s, thanks for the insight, kastorvpolux.

Assuming you did that in the last few days, while Venus is low in the sky and only 12 arcseconds across, that's pretty impressive. Next summer will present a better opportunity as Venus emerges from conjunction and grows into a nice fat crescent.
